Earth2 is a virtual world that aims to create a new type of economy based on virtual land ownership. As part of its extensive gameplay mechanics, Earth2 introduces two types of energy, red and yellow energy. In this article, we explore what these two energies mean and how they impact the game world.
Red Energy: The Lifeblood of Earth2
Red Energy is generated through successful raids on other players’ territories only. There is no way currently user can buy or sell them. It is an essential resource in the game as it is used to synthesize Civilians, who are necessary for mining automations. Without Red Energy, Earth2 Civilians cannot be created and can only be traded among players in Bazaar. The more Red Energy a player accumulates, the more Civilians they can produce, allowing them to automate their Raiding and take vacation – making passive income.
Yellow Energy: The Rewards of Good Deeds
Unlike Red Energy, Yellow Energy is a reward for performing good deeds in Earth2. It is generated when a player contributes positively to the game’s community. It is an uncertain but blessing resource like luck. Just as in the Genesis and Eden Hill, God or Shine may bless us with good fortune if we all behave.
Unlike other types of energy, Yellow Energy cannot be purchased and must be earned through various means, such as completing quests or achievements. Yellow Energy is limited, which means that it is a valuable resource in the game. To obtain Yellow Energy, players must contribute their talent and resources for the Earth2 Metaverse.
